The RSVP Luncheon is a special event celebrating the 41st year of RSVP and to
recognize the contributions of 220 Senior Volunteers in Cape May County on Thursday, September 24th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Golden Inn in Avalon.
RSVP is part of Senior Corps, the largest volunteer network in the nation for people 55 and over. RSVP Senior Corps connects people with the organizations that need them the most. Volunteers receive guidance and training so they can make a contribution that suits their talents, interests, and availability. Service opportunities are as diverse as the communities in which volunteers serve and may include: Assisting with reading and math readiness skills for pre-school students; Assisting with emergency preparedness activities; Assisting food pantries in providing food security to those in need; Assisting vulnerable seniors in one of Cape May County’s Senior &Wellness Centers and many more.
