[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 Update - May 15, 2020

Cape May Court House- New Jersey has 143,905 total COVID-19 cases and 10,138 deaths. Cape May County’s total has increased by 20 cases, making a total of 508 cases in the County. Currently 228 cases have recovered from COVID-19 in Cape May County. As testing starts to become more available in Cape May County, so does antibody testing. Antibody testing will give us a better understanding of the virus and help us in our response against COVID-19.

Cape May County Department of Health has launched their COVID-19 dashboard on their website, www.cmchealth.net. The dashboard has the total number of cases in Cape May County broken down into different categories. The categories include cases by municipality, confirmed cases by date, cases by age, fatality by age, and cases in long-term care facilities compared to community cases.

“Keeping our residents informed during this time is very important to the Cape May County Department of Health. We have added a COVID-19 dashboard to our website, www.cmchealth.net. The dashboard makes it easier for residents to view the counties total number of cases,” said Kevin Thomas, Health Officer.
