Cape May Court House- The number of COVID-19 cases continue to increase, New Jersey has 139,945 total COVID-19 positive cases and 9,310 deaths. With great remorse, the County Health Department reports that a 71-year-old female from Lower Township and 55-year-old male from Woodbine passed away from COVID-19. Total positive cases of COVID-19 infection in Cape May County is now 470 including 34 deaths.

“Each death represents a friend, a family member and a loved one. We are focused on ensuring that every resident of Cape May County who died because of COVID-19 is reflected upon,” said Cape May County Freeholder Jeff Pierson. “As a community, it is part of the healing process to be able to grieve and mourn for all those that have passed because of this dreadful pandemic.”
