The Farmers’ Market will make a return to the Cape May County 4-H Fair July 16, 17, and 18 in an effort to connect residents and visitors to local farmers and their produce.

Farmers’ markets provide consumers with the opportunity to put a face to their food through interaction with local farmers. The fair is a perfect opportunity for families to learn more about where their food comes from, how farmers support the local economy and creative ways to use fresh produce found at market.
The market is also a good opportunity for farmers to reach out to their customers in a venue that is about cooperation, not competition.

The 4-H Fair Farmers’ Market will be open from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Fair organizers are planning on having products that range from fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables, and displays of antique farm equipment.

For more information on the farmers market or if you are a farmer who would like to participate contact (609) 465-5115 ext 605.

If You Go: The annual 4-H fair runs July 16 – 18 at the 4-H fairgrounds located at 355 Court House – South Dennis Road in Cape May Court House. Public hours for the fair are noon to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free and there is a host of fun events Thursday through Saturday.
