COUNTY COFFEE CHAT RETURNS IN OCEAN CITY
A successful new program is being continued on Monday Feb. 11 by the Cape May County Freeholder Board. “County Coffee Chat” will bring Freeholders Jeff Pierson and Marie Hayes to the Yianni’s Café inside of the Community Center in Ocean City from 9 am to 11 am. The idea of the event is to provide a causal atmosphere for people to ask questions related to county government.
“I enjoyed having the community come out and speak their mind on what is going on,” said Pierson. “I am very excited to keep it going in 2019.”
In future months Freeholders will appear in other municipalities to make it easier for all county residents to speak with their elected officials. Future dates will be announced soon.
“Its always great to host an event like this in Ocean City where I live,” said Hayes. “I think it is another way to have the Freeholder Board be more responsive to our community.”
The location of Yianni’s Café inside of the Community Center is at 1735 Simpson Avenue Ocean City, NJ
