[ARCHIVED] County Library Announces Teen Photography Contest Winners

 

Cape May County Freeholder E. Marie Hayes and the Library Commission are pleased to announce the winners of the 2017 Teen Photography Contest “Through Your Eyes” sponsored by Sturdy Savings Bank and brought to you by the Cape May County Library. The contest was open to all teens from twelve to eighteen years old. The winning photos will be displayed at the Lower Cape Library for the month of September and online at www.cmclibrary.org. Winners are as follows:

Grand Prize: Best Photograph Overall – Joshua King, Belleplain, NJ, “Osprey Family”

Cape May County

1st Place: Anja Martin, Seaville, NJ, “Boardwalk at Dusk”

2nd Place: Kyra Birmingham, Stone Harbor, NJ, “Barriers Made to be Broken”

3rd Place:  Landon Alvarez, North Cape May, NJ, “Gleaming Light”

Honorable Mention: Anja Martin, Seaville, NJ, “On the Inside”

Build a Better World

1st Place: Kora Clauser, Cape May Court House, NJ, “Writing Washing”

2nd Place: Remington English, Dorchester, NJ, “Man Made”

3rd Place: Vera Clauser, Cape May Court House, NJ, “Love”

Honorable Mention: Corey Becker, Philadelphia, PA, “Green Italy”

Nature

1st Place: Joshua King, Belleplain, NJ, “Osprey Family”

2nd Place: Luke Harris, Stone Harbor, NJ, “In the Tube”

3rd Place:  Sarah Dillon, Moorestown, NJ, “Bird Watching Waves”
