CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ – The Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders recognized 12 County employees who reached 25 years of employment in government at the June 27 Freeholder meeting.
The employees came from various departments, and were praised individually by the Freeholders for their hard work and dedication to the county. Freeholder Director Gerald Thornton, congratulated the employees and encouraged them to celebrate this milestone by shouting out, “I made it.”
Each employee was accompanied by their department director or supervisor who spoke of their special contributions to their respective department. They each received a 25 year pin and a certificate of achievement by the Board.
