Rutgers Cooperative Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Program Offers the Workshop, Gardening: The Soil Makes The Difference on March 1

Cape May Court House – Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Agriculture and Natural Resources Program is offering the second workshop in the 2017 Workshop Series, "Gardening by the Seasons” on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. The workshop, Gardening: The Soil Makes the Difference, will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m., rain or shine, at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Courthouse - South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey.

The presenter will be Linda Conover, Rutgers Master Gardener for Cape May County. Conover also has a certificate from Rutgers Cooperative Extension in Organic Land Care. Participants will learn how soil biology relates to plant health and how to improve their garden by improving their soil. Also, participants are asked to bring two to three cups of soil from their garden for the hands-on portion of the program.

This is a beginner class, therefore, no experience is needed. The cost for this workshop is $20 and includes dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program at 6 p.m..
