The Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program recently concluded its Rutgers 4-H Summer Teen Leader Program, held annually at NJ Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May. Seventeen teens participated in the eight-week program where they learned leadership and communication skills and mentored young campers at the Nature Center’s Summer Children’s Camps.
This year’s teens included Isabella Aftanis, Cape May; Nick Arpa, Townbank; Dave Etgen, Warrington, PA; Steve Gindville, Erma; Hannah Grant, Cape May Court House; Margret Harrington, North Cape May; Malea Horn-Attanasio, Villas; Colin Keyes, New Hope, PA; Ashlyn Lorentz, Middleton, DE; Jack McDonough, Dennisville; Brian Mikolajczyk, Cape May Court House; Jakob Pender, West Cape May; Lindley Tilley, Brownwood, TX; Gracie Vandegrift, Springfield, OH; Gage Ventry, Cape May; Mia Watts, Cape May Court House; and Greg Wilson, North Cape May.
