Mission
The primary mission of Crest Haven's Social Services Department is to enhance human well-being and help meet the basic needs of all residents. The staff of the Social Services Department is trained to pay particular attention to the needs and empowerment of our residents, their families, and our employees.

A historic and defining feature of social work is the profession's focus on individual well-being in a social context and the well-being of society. Fundamental to social work is attention to the environmental forces that create, contribute to, and address problems in living.

In addition to geriatric social work services, Crest Haven employs a licensed Psychological Group who perform appropriate services alongside the social workers, physician and medical personnel. The Harmony Group is a leading behavioral health services organization in New Jersey.
