Tours & Special Events
Tours of the historic district and many of the Victorian inns are scheduled daily through the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts. A full schedule of special events keep Cape May open and active all year.
A don't miss is the annual Music Festival, Spring Festival and Jazz Festival held each spring. Concerts, Theater and Movies on the Beach held during the summer months and a range of fall and winter events including Victorian Weekend and Fall Festival.
For the Birds
Spring and Fall migration is spectacular in Cape May. The World Series of Birding begins in Cape May each year and tests the skills of teams of birders from all over the world to identify as many different species of birds in a 24-hour period. Fall migration of birds and butterflies brings professional and amateur birders to the area in late September through October.
Attractions
Fishing, sight seeing, whale watching, kite flying, and sailing are a few of the outdoor activities available on a Cape May vacation.
The ocean front Cape May Convention Center, located on the promenade, hosts a variety of events for children and adults. This year round state of the art facility is the hub of activities for family entertainment.
The only U.S. Coast Guard Training Center is located in Cape May and serves as the only boot camp for recruits.

Cape May offers much more than Victorian hotels and inns. Many modern motels, apartments and condominiums are located throughout the city. Fine dining and unique shopping are found from one end of the city to the other.
Cape May Convention Hall
Cape May's new Convention Hall is located at 714 Beach Avenue and is a 20,000 square foot facility located on Cape May's beachfront. It is home to performing arts concerts for up to 1,000 people; and seminars, weddings, and banquets for up to 600 people. Cape May's new Convention Hall features state-of-the-art audio and video equipment, sound proofing in the main hall, and high-speed internet access.
