On September 11, 2014, Cape May County held its 13th Annual Patriot's Day Memorial Ceremony.

2014 Cape May County National Arts Program
Peter J. Bosak PhD, Superintendent, Cape May County Department of Mosquito Control won Best of Show in the 2014 National Arts Program (NAP). Bosak’s sculpture, “Too Close to the Sun”, also won 1st place in the Intermediate Division.

Freeholder Will Morey and the Board of Chosen Freeholders honored Cynthia Leatherwood for being named “Cape May County Teacher of the Year” for the 2014-2015 school year at their meeting on May 27, 2014.
