If Your Pet is Lost
  • Immediately notify your local police and animal control officer.
  • Post signs with your pet’s picture.
  • Time is essential. Do not delay.
  • Visit shelters with pictures of your pet.
If You Find an Animal
Notify local police and animal control. If you can, keep the animal until its owner can be located.
