Emergency Management

  1. There are no alerts at this time.

For the safety of you and your family, put an evacuation plan in place before a storm hits your region.

The Cape May County Department of Emergency Management is urging all County residents to have an evacuation location identified before a severe storm visits our region.  Access to traditional shelters is expected to be restricted by regulations from both the State of New Jersey and the American Red Cross.

Now is the time to identify a safe location away from the County provided by family, friends, or a short-term lodging facility shall an evacuation be necessary.  Think ahead and identify where your family will go before the storm arrives.
