Schools & Large Groups
Bus/Van Permits
All groups coming by bus or minivan will need a bus/van permit.

Full size school buses and tour buses are $80. each

Mini bus and transit vans are $40.00
Bus permits are needed for all vehicles regardless if dropping off or staying the entire trip and applies to all organizations.

Pavilions
Kindergarten through 12th grade classes for field trips during the normal school year (September - June) will be offered a free pavilion if available. All other school programs must pay for a pavilion, including preschool & preK.

Payment is required at the time of reservation. If paying by purchase order please choose "pay later" and contact the office after making your reservation.


Weather Cancellations
The County of Cape May has a no refund policy but the office will attempt to reschedule your trip if there is availability, within the same calendar year.

All buses must enter the Park at the main entrance at Route 9 and Crest Haven Road. Buses will be checked in at the Park entrance and directed to the designated bus parking area.

School Group Ambassador Animal Program

Enhance Your Field Trip with an Animal Ambassador Program! Have a 30-Minute educational program including 2-3 of our Ambassador Animals right at your pavilion! This option is only available to School Groups. This special program is $200 for 30-minutes. 

School & Large Group Guided Tours

Enhance your school field trip or group visit with an private guided zoo tour. If you are coming to visit the zoo with a group  this is the best way to experience our zoo and all it has to offer. During your tour one of our experienced zoo educators will take you around and teach your group  about the animals in our care as well as their wild counterparts. With advanced notice we can fine tune your tour to coincide your classes learning goals.

Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten (60-Minute Tour)

  • 1 Tour Guide: $150, max. 25 people total
  • 2 Tour Guides: $300, max. 50 people total
  • 3 Tour Guides: $450, max. 75 people total

1st through 5th Grades (90-Minute Tour)

  • 1 Tour Guide: $200, max. 25 people total
  • 2 Tour Guides: $400, max. 50 people total
  • 3 Tour Guides: $600, max. 75 people total

  • 1 Tour Guide: $250, max. 25 people total
  • 2 Tour Guides: $500, max. 50 people total
