BEING A VOLUNTEER AT THE CAPE MAY COUNTY PARK & ZOO

 Below are a variety of ways in which individuals or groups can help within the park and zoo system:

Special Events Volunteer
Event volunteers usually work one day themed events that require large numbers of individuals such as: Boo at the Zoo, Santa's workshop, Easter EggstravanganZoo, Sleepovers, Princess and Pirate Days, and the Annual Earth Day Celebration. Examples of work performed: assist with crowd control, registration, information stations, fund raising, craft activities, set-up & clean-up.

Parks & Grounds Volunteer
Grounds volunteers can help in a variety of different ways including: gardening, trail maintenance, building projects and social group projects to name a few. Park volunteers can be very helpful throughout many of our four county-wide parks.
